Real Country specializes in doing openings or backing of recording artists.  The list includes such notables as Reba, George Jones, Justin Tubb, Bill Anderson, Johnny Russell, Vern Gosdin, Freddy Hart, Charlie Daniels, Conway, Helen Corneilus, Merle Travis, Randy Travis, Jamie O'Neal, Faron Young and Ray Price.  One of Joe's most memorable jobs was playing for President and Mrs. Reagan in President's Park, across the street from the White House.  Most bands find backing a known artist to be too much to handle.  We relish the challenge.  As an opener, the challenge is to prime the audience for the headliner.  It takes confidence to do either, as a backer or opener.  We have the confidence and experience to do both.
